Co-organized by CRIHAP and the UNESCO Offices in Bangkok, an online “Capacity-building Workshop on Safeguarding ICH and Sustainable Development for Youths in Laos” will kick off on Oct 15, 2021.

40 local community youth leaders from the country’s Luang Prabang, Champasak and Xiengkhuong provinces will participate in the workshop.

UNESCO-accredited ICH facilitator Paritta Chalermpow Koanantakool, along with six local experts from Thailand and Laos, will deliver lectures on ICH safeguarding to trainees.
