Seeking property vantage point

London-based entrepreneur Edwin Chiu founded Vantage Properties in 1992 with an aim to help individuals from the United Kingdom invest in property in China and assist Chinese nationals with property investment in the UK.

Previously an engineer for London's transportation system, Chiu first established his niche in the Canary Wharf and Docklands areas, two of the most active property markets in the world.

Since then, Vantage has won awards as a property investment and management company, going on to open offices in Shanghai and Beijing.

It also specializes in off-plan and newly-built developments.

Hong Kong born Chiu has gathered essential resources, knowledge and background to meet the needs of his customers, including Chinese entrepreneurs who have done well amid the economic boom at home.

"Chinese entrepreneurs made lots of money over the last 10 years by their own determination with no real formal training. With London's stable environment and investor base, my clients know they can find what they're looking for here," explains Chiu.

It offers a property line up with quality accommodations in Shimao Riviera Garden, Triumphal Palace in Shanghai, and Olive Gardens in the Olympic Villa in Beijing.

China can be a daunting place for outside property investors but Vantage has simplified the process and offers clients full mortgage and management packages for their investments.

"We are really helping people to have successful business and investments. My advice to people is to start early, invest in China now," says Chiu.
