Party adopts anti-graft plan
The Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee yesterday passed a five-year plan for prevention of, and punishment for, corruption.
The members of the bureau at the meeting urged Party organs at various levels to use the plan, which aims to establish a system to punish and prevent corruption from 2008 to 2012, as a guideline for anti-corruption work in the next five years.
The meeting was presided over by Hu Jintao, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee.
