Congratulatory letter

Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi send a letter yesterday to Thai Foreign Minister Tej Bunnag to congratulate the 41st anniversary of the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Yang noted in the letter that with the adoption of its charter, ASEAN is translating its dream of "One Vision, One Identity and One Caring and Sharing Community" into reality. He hoped the member states will further strengthen solidarity and continue to promote economic growth and social progress.
