Bush's poor ratings 'harm McCain'
Obama is expected to win the election because the incumbent Bush administration's poor performance has done harm to McCain's campaign, a leading US analyst said.
One day before the presidential vote, Professor David Brady, deputy director of Stanford University's Hoover Institution, said American voters' preference is linked to the performance of the incumbent party.
"If the president does well, the party will do well in the election," Brady told Chinese scholars at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing.
