Chen's 'rumor' dismissed by Beijing

Taiwan's former leader Chen Shui-bian fabricated rumors that he was being "sacrificed" to the mainland at a time of warming cross-Straits relations, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council said yesterday.
