Special supplement: Jilin opens wider to the world
Benefiting from the nation's reform and opening-up policy for the last three decades, the northeastern province of Jilin has made remarkable achievements in a range of foreign-related businesses.
By the end of 2007, the province had established trade and economic relations with 155 countries and regions.
Last year, Jilin's foreign trade totaled $10.3 billion, 278 times the $35 million figure in 1978, the year when reform and opening-up began in China.
