Taiwan reports 2 new flu cases

Taiwan's health authorities yesterday reported two new confirmed cases of H1N1 flu, bringing the total number to three on the island.

The two patients are a 22-year-old female student who returned to Taipei on Wednesday from New York via Hong Kong, and a 23-year-old female student who arrived in Taiwan earlier in the day from San Francisco.

On Wednesday, the island's health authorities confirmed a 52-year-old man, who also flew in from the United States, as the first case.
