CSR Special: BMW marks 35 years of Sino-German accord

Ballet meets BMW this weekend as the German car manufacturer launches its third annual Culture Night and brings the internationally-renowned Liaoning Ballet Troupe to the stage of the Liaoning Grand Theatre. This three day artistic pageant, running from June 13 to 15, is being held as a celebration of 35 years of diplomatic relations between China and Germany.

Billed as part of the car-manufacturers on-going "Germany and China - Moving Ahead Together" program, the event will take place in Shenyang, the capital of the northeastern Liaoning province. The highlight of the show is said to be a breathtaking and romantic Chinese aria, accompanied by a virtuoso ballet performance.

This is the third consecutive year that BMW Brilliance, a joint venture between BMW and Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd, has staged the highly successful BMW Culture Night.
