Work starts on oil pipeline project

Russia has now emerged one of the key economic and trade partners for the northeastern Chinese province of Heilongjiang.

This has seen a number of ambitious joint venture construction projects initiated by the two parties.

Chief among these is the Sino-Russian oil pipeline project.
