Solar eclipse for science education

According to the International Astronomical Association and the Zijinshan Observatory, there will be a total solar eclipse tomorrow. In preparation for the eclipse, the General Office of the State Council has issued a notification to prevent any panic arising out of superstition or fear of the spectacle.

The solar eclipse should be treated as a big issue, for any ignorance, misunderstanding or intentional misinterpretation may arouse social unrest. Besides paying attention to the social reaction, we should make the eclipse an opportunity to popularize science education.
