Ma's election as KMT chairman

With the landside victory of Ma Ying-jeou in the election for the chairman of KMT, the prospects on both sides of Taiwan Straits for moving forward seem to be brighter.

Some optimistic views emerged after Ma's victory in the election. However, there is less reason to be optimistic now, in view of the following:
