It's 'snow' joke as Bai wins gold

BERLIN: China's Bai Xue won the women's marathon world title in a time of 2.25:15 yesterday.
The 20-year-old - whose name means "white snow" - beat home Yoshimi Ozaki of Japan (2.25:25) while Aselefech Mergia of Ethiopia took the bronze (2.25:32).
It was the first gold medal for China in Berlin, taking their medal tally to 1-1-2.
