Iran's nuclear threat 'hyped' says UN watchdog
VIENNA: Iran will not be in a position to produce nuclear weapons any time soon and the threat posed by its atomic program has been exaggerated, according to the UN's nuclear watchdog.
Mohamed ElBaradei, director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, made the comments in an interview published in The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.
The report quoted ElBaradei as saying that, while the nuclear threat from Iran had been exaggerated, there was still cause for concern.
