Thirty-one-year-old Shanti is one of India's growing number of 'HIV widows' - women, some HIV-positive, left to fend for themselves after their infected husbands' deaths. Shanti had to turn to prostituion when her family shunned her after the death of her husband three years ago. Three million people, including a million women, are HIV-positive in India.
