Spain opens new Guangzhou consulate to improve trade ties

GUANGZHOU: Spain is planning to set up a consulate general, as well as trade and tourism offices in this southern Chinese city. The move comes as part of a bid to facilitate social, economic and economic ties between Spain and Guangdong province, according to a senior Spanish official.
