The Keqiao Expo: 10 years of textile trading triumphs

Owing to substantial support from the Ministry of Commerce, the China Textile Expo is now in its tenth successful year. The event also has the backing of the Zhejiang provincial people's government, relevant national trade associations and the Shaoxing county government.

Adhering to a philosophy of "internationalization, specialization, and marketing awareness", the Expo has gradually become one of the leading domestic textile exhibitions since it's launch in 1999. Its organizers credit the assistance of Shaoxing county's huge industrial base and the preeminence of the nearby China Textile City with much of this success.

In 1999, the first China Textile Expo, then known as the China Textile City Textile Expo, was held in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province. In 2004, the Expo was officially renamed as the "China (Shaoxing) Textile Expo".
