Liugong boss declares the equipment recession is over

When Wang Xiaohua, chairman of Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co, visited the Bauma Machinery China Show in Shanghai last November, he detected a palpable nervousness among the exhibitors. Having seen the Chinese construction equipment market post consistent year-on-year growth of over 20 percent or more for most of the previous decade, many of the country's leading players were contemplating the unthinkable - a downturn. Wang, however, did not share their concerns.
