Building BRIC offers economic advantages

Leaders of the four fast-growing developing economies will meet in Brazil in April, seeking to strengthen mutual trust and coordination in the post-crisis era.

Roberto Jaguaribe, the Under Secretary General for Asia, Oceania and Regional Mechanisms at the Brazilian Ministry of External Relations, told China Daily yesterday that economic topics still top the agenda of the summit.

The first business forum and conference of commercial banks will also be held during the international gathering.
