A small island state on the Indian Ocean is voicing big concerns about the impact of global warming.

Seychelles, with a population of only 87,000 and comprising 115 islands, has been calling on the international community, especially the developed countries, to address climate change with concrete action rather than just talk.

Speaking to a Chinese media delegation visiting the country recently, President James Michel said that rising sea levels and other effects of global warming have been directly affecting his island country, which relies heavily on its natural resources.
