Police arrest gang behind diesel thefts

Three suspects who allegedly stole diesel from buses and trucks on the third and fourth ring roads have been arrested, Beijing police confirmed.

A man surnamed Zhu who allegedly bought diesel from the gang and sold it for profit was also detained.

The suspects face possible charges of theft, endangering public security, and concealing proceeds from illegal business operations, the police said.
