Economic policy to remain unchanged

JAKARTA - Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Economy Hatta Rajasa underscored that the government's economic policy will not be altered under the new minister following Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati's resignation, Antara News Agency reported on Thursday.

"Whoever would be the finance minister, his or her economic policy won't change," said Hatta.

According to him, the cabinet's economic team under President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will keep managing the economy prudently.
