Premature quadruplets face four times the hardship

By Zhang Yue | China Daily | Updated: 2010-05-10 08:01

Zhang Shiping and Chen Fenyan were relieved when Ma Jianian greeted them and their 8-month-old preterm quadruplets in Beijing last month.

"Usually, the first challenge is finding accommodation. Most parents can't afford hotels," Ma says. She explains most landlords are reluctant to rent rooms to people with babies - and especially to a family with four of them.
