Premier's Asian tour to strengthen cooperation

Wen to visit Japan, Mongolia, ROK and Burma in May, June

BEIJING - Premier Wen Jiabao's upcoming Asia tour will strengthen regional peace and cooperation, Vice-Foreign Minister Zhang Zhijun said on Wednesday.

Experts forecast that Wen's visit will help other Asian countries stabilize the erratic situation on the Korea Peninsula and cast off the negative influences of the global financial crisis.
