Greece coach attacks bans
On eve of World Championship clash with China, Kazlauskas hits out at FIBA sanctions
ANKARA, Turkey - Greece's basketball coach, Jonas Kazlauskas, on Friday attacked FIBA's decision to ban two of his team's players for two matches, one day before the side's opening match against China of the World Championship here.
Greek players Antonis Fotsis and Sofoklis Schortsanitis were suspended by the sport's governing body for two games apiece due to their roles in an ugly brawl with Serbia during a warm-up match last week.
