Despite the global economic turmoil, human resources (HR) company Randstad Group still generated revenues of 12.8 billion euros ($17.4 billion) last year to rank among global Fortune 500 firms.
George Wang, general manager of Randstad China, attributed the success to the company's strategy of integrating long and short-term business strategies that "guarantee steady development in periodic economic cycles".
Long-term business can have an upward trend even during a recession, then grow at a steady pace when the economy resumes its vitality, he noted.
