SEOUL, Republic of Korea - The Republic of Korea (ROK) said on Thursday it was closely watching the site where the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) tested an atomic bomb last year, but had no evidence as yet that another test was being planned.
A spokesman for the ROK foreign ministry was commenting on a report and satellite photos published by Jane's Defense Weekly which show work under way at the site in the northeastern province of North Hamkyong in the DPRK.
"No tangible evidence has been confirmed on whether or not (the DPRK) is preparing for a third nuclear test," the spokesman said.
