Anyone familiar with the city of Anshan's business climate would know Ping Anjun as a businessman with a real estate company. That's all.

Anyone familiar with music, however, would know Ping as a fellow traveler, one who is equally fascinated with music.

Ping, who is now in his early 50s, graduated from the prestigious Shenyang Conservatory of Music, in the composition department. And he is recognized by China as a Grade I Composer. He served as head of the Anshan Song and Dance Ensemble for 12 years before getting involved in business.
