Nuclear disaster offers chance

Misfortune makes people pause for thought, evaluate things they once ignored

For the past couple of days, the concerns about Japan's earthquake and countermeasures to ward off possible radiation have become an indispensable part of the discussions among my friends.

Apparently, everyone is keeping close tabs on the latest developments of the compromised nuclear power stations in Japan, while fear of the possible spread of radiation led some of them to irrational actions.
