'No embargo' of rare earths on Japan firms
Exports decline due to sluggish economy not islands: Expert
Declining exports of rare earths are due to sluggish global demand and not tension with Tokyo, industry leaders said.
No embargo has been placed on Japan over the Diaoyu Islands, Liu Yinan, vice-chairman of the China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals and Chemicals Importers and Exporters, said.
