Yellow River Valley Charity

The Yellow River flows through the Ningxia Hui autonomous region.

In 2010, the Ningxia government launched a poverty-relief program called "The Yellow River Valley Charity" to help more than a million people officially classified as living in poverty, including 420,000 with disabilities, by providing job opportunities and vocational training in agricultural skills.

Since 2010, the project has built six industrial parks, attracted 45 companies, and provided more than 30,000 jobs.
