Chinese real estate developer Zhongrong Group has unveiled plans to regenerate Britain's famous Crystal Palace Park, home to the Victorian landmark that housed the Great Exhibition of 1851.

The 500 million pound ($806 million) project, which was announced in London on Wednesday, includes building a replica of the 83,000-square-meter glass halls of the palace, which burned down in 1936, and the 70-hectare park in southeast London.
