Sino-Dutch trade remains robust

China and the Netherlands are expected to have even closer economic ties as bilateral trade continues to grow.

Statistics show the trade volume between the two countries hit nearly $68 billion in 2012, more than eight times the figure in 2000.

That volume ranks the small country second among China's trade partners in the European Union, a position it has held for 10 consecutive years.
