Li Na proving that age is just a number

At the beginning of 2013, when Chinese tennis superstar Li Na vowed to break into the world's top three or win another major championship, many thought she might be dreaming too big.

But after putting together what Li described as "the most consistent season" of her career, she silenced those who suggested her best was behind her. She ended the year ranked No 3 in the world, adding another milestone to her long list of credits.

Since becoming China's first WTA title winner and first Grand Slam champion, she has grown accustomed to making history.
