Chicken bone causes bleeding

A 60-year-old man coughed up about a liter of blood after a chicken bone he swallowed had penetrated his digestive tract. Chengdu Economic Daily reported on Friday that doctors in Chengdu No 3 People's Hospital successfully removed the bone. The man tried drinking vinegar and eating rice for two days to dislodge the bone before he sought medical help.
