Regional interconnectivity lures Chinese contractors

Chinese contractors are increasingly cooperating on regional interconnectivity projects, because of their far-reaching presence and longstanding expertise in construction.

"We are offering potential investors a lot of opportunities in the infrastructure sector of Romania and I am glad to say that many Chinese companies are interested," Marcel Bogdan Pandelica, State secretary for the Ministry of Economy of Romania, told a panel during the fifth International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum.

The fifth IIICF was held in Macao from May 8 to 9 and was organized by the China International Contractors Association and Macao Economic Services.
