Outbound tourists take off for global adventures

Hurun Report and ILTM Asia jointly released The Chinese Luxury Traveler 2014, a survey on the travel trends of Chinese high net worth individuals, also known as HNWIs.

The report, which was released on Tuesday, is in its fourth year.

The 2014 edition surveyed more than 200 Chinese luxury travelers who had each visited 40 countries on average and spent $25,000 on trips in the past three years. The average age of respondents was 44 and more than half were male.
