The top security body released on Thursday 12 typical corruption and misconduct cases involving law enforcement officials.

The move follows the first such unveiling of 10 other cases in February.

Most of the 22 cases involved abuse of power and taking bribes, while others involved officials suspected of drunken driving and deliberately covering up crimes, according to a statement from the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
