Traffic clogged as families head home for holiday

Chongqing resident Li Shujun traveled with her family to the city's Tongliang county on Saturday to visit the newly opened sweet osmanthus garden.

"It usually takes an hour from my home to the center of the county, but it took more than two hours yesterday," Li said, who added that the heavy holiday traffic never reduces the joy of family reunions.

Like Li, thousands of Chinese families had to deal with heavy traffic during Mid-Autumn Festival holiday weekend.
