A court upheld the death sentences of three men and the life imprisonment sentence of a woman for their involvement in a brutal terror attack in which 31 people were killed at Kunming Railway Station earlier this year.
The Yunnan High People's Court rejected Hasayn Muhammad's appeal and left in place the death sentence pronounced by the Kunming Intermediate People's Court on Sept 12.
The high court said during Friday's trial that evidence proving the men - Iskandar Ehet, Hasayn Muhammad and Turgun Tohtunyaz - organized and led members of a terrorist group in the killing spree at the station in March was sufficient to keep the sentences in place.
