County offers a slice of ethnic diversity

Longsheng autonomous county in the northeast of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, which borders Hunan province, is accessible by high-speed railway and expressways and attracts visitors with its unique charms.

The county is known for its well-preserved environment and unique ethnic culture as it is home to Miao, Yao, Dong, Zhuang and Han ethnic groups and covers 2,538 square kilometers, 87.2 percent of which is mountainous.

The most popular areas for tourists in Longsheng are the Longji rice terraces, Longsheng hot springs, Huaping State Natural Reserve and Pengzuping forest.
