The 2014 BMW China Culture Journey Exhibition was held in Sanlitun, Beijing in early December with the goal of inspiring the general public, especially the younger generation, to preserve, pass on and promote Chinese traditional culture.

German premium automaker BMW and the China National Center for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage at the Chinese National Academy of Arts jointly launched the event.

This year's BMW China Culture Journey Exhibition presented more than 30 intangible cultural heritage items gathered from Southwest China's Guizhou province in the fields of local cuisine, folk customs, handcrafts, and traditional songs and dances.
