Five die in Atlanta home shooting

Neighbors along a quiet, suburban street outside Atlanta were left horrified after police said a man shot six people, killing four of them, including his ex-wife and several children before turning the gun on himself.

The shooting happened around 3 pm on Saturday in a housing development west of Atlanta, Douglas County Sheriff's Lieutenant Glenn Daniel said.

Neighbors called police and then tried to help the severely injured victims as best they could before rescuers arrived.
