Property market tallies steady price increases
Expert says different policies among cities led to uneven recovery
China's property market continued to warm up in April, while first- and second-tier cities saw varied levels of new house prices surge on a month-to-month basis, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed on Wednesday.
Of 70 large and medium-sized cities surveyed in April, 65 saw average price increases month-on-month, up from 62 in March, while only five cities reported month-on-month price declines, down from eight in March.
