Mainland stocks climb to two-week high
Chinese mainland stocks climbed to a two-week high on Tuesday, led by consumer and industrial companies, on signs of stabilization in the world's second-biggest economy.
The Shanghai Composite Index climbed 0.7 percent to its highest close since July 26.
Dongxu Optoelectronic Technology Co led gains by manufacturers after China's factory-gate deflation eased in July for a seventh month in a row.
