Dongjiao Winery's output in 1980 was 11,800 metric tons and the production target for this year is 14,000 tons. The wines are exported to Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the United States and Europe.

China is one of the leading markets for wine, with nearly 300 million liters imported between January and June, a year-on-year rise of 22 percent, according to the General Administration of Customs.
