Panik attack keeps Giants breathing

Joe Panik was mobbed by his San Francisco Giants teammates at home plate.

Just as has been the case so many times with everything on the line in October, San Francisco's season was extended another day.

Panik doubled off the wall in right-center field to drive in Brandon Crawford with the winning run in the 13th inning as the Giants staved off elimination by outlasting the Chicago Cubs 6-5 on Monday night in Game 3 of their NL Division Series.
