Swiss food giant's purchases increased from 80 tons in 1991 to 13,500 during the current year

Nestl é's presence in Southwest China's Yunnan province is helping local people shake off poverty.

Wang Zhongxue, a coffee farmer, said he escaped poverty thanks to assistance from the Swiss food giant.
