A temporary bookstore hosting book talks in the grounds of a historic Shanghai villa has become one of the city's latest attractions.

The store, housed in a futuristic wooden structure built in the courtyard of the renovated 19th-century Sinan Mansion, has 3,000 books of different genres over 30 square meters.

The project organizers - Shanghai Century Publishing Group, the Youye Group and the Shanghai Authors' Association - have said they will invite famous authors to talk to readers.
