Luxury Mercedes GLB launched
Beijing Mercedes-Benz Sales Service Co launched the GLB SUV on Friday. The model, available with five or seven seats, is priced from 314,800 yuan to 354,800 yuan ($44,760 to $50,450). Made at its Beijing plant, the GLB features a 1.3-liter turbocharged engine and a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. It has a maximum output of 120 kW and a peak torque of 250 Nm. The GLB boasts a wheelbase of 2,829 mm. It measures 4,638 mm in length and 1,834 mm in width. The height is 1,687 mm for the five-seater and 1,700 mm for the seven-seater. The model features a number of driving assist functions and its MBUX infotainment system enables the driver to interact with the car via voice commands.
Breeze completes SUV lineup
GAC Honda launched its all-new Breeze, a mid-sized sport utility vehicle model, on Saturday in Shanghai. Offering a Sport Turbo or Sport Hybrid powertrain, the model has a suggested price range of 169,800 yuan to 252,800 yuan ($24,151 to $35,956). The Sport Turbo version has a maximum output of 142 kW with a top torque of 243 Nm. The Sport Hybrid version can generate a maximum output of 158 kW and has a maximum torque of 315 Nm. Featuring a design language of sharpness and elegance, the new Breeze targets the urban young generation. With the arrival of the all-new Breeze, GAC Honda now offers a complete lineup of SUVs in the Chinese market.
